What drives this
I never really wanted the ordinary path. I want to see how much there is to learn, experience and build and where the next opportunity might lead. This is me figuring that out, and bringing you along.
one tube
Mostly the messy part
It's easy to tell the story once everything worked out. I'm more interested in showing it while it hasn't yet: The failed experiments, changed plans, doubts and small wins in between.
pellet
The invisible bit
Most of the work happens long before there is anything worth showing. Reading, repeating, waiting, rewriting, and trying again. I want to make that part visible too.
plasmid
For people who get it
Some jokes only work if you've spent a little too much time in labs, lectures or hospitals. If you get them, you're probably in the right place.
sequence
Two countries
Some of the best opportunities meant leaving what was familiar behind. Berlin, Rochester, and a lot of uncertainty in between. I'm learning that sometimes the interesting path starts with being willing to go.
one letter
Off duty
I don't want a life that looks impressive from the outside but feels narrow from within. Medicine and research matter a lot to me, but so do the people and experiences that have nothing to do with either.
exchange
One in, one out
I used to think progress meant adding more. Now I'm learning that it often means choosing what deserves the limited time and attention I have.
transport
Where to find it
For now, most of this lives on Instagram. The longer stories are still waiting for a home.
